CAMERA & MOTION · HOW BINX WORKS

Your movement.
Your device. Your control.

Your phone turns your movements into game controls. BINX connects those controls to the game on your TV or computer, so you can move, play and have fun together.

Your camera feed stays on the camera device.

When you use a phone camera, the movement processing runs in the browser on that phone. BINX motion play does not take photographs, record video, or upload the camera feed or body points to our servers or the paired screen.

Using your computer’s own camera? The same processing happens on that computer instead.

A connection for controls.

The paired screen receives small controls, such as moving left, throwing or choosing a menu button, plus a simple indication of whether you are in view. Our connection service relays these so the game can respond. It does not receive your camera pictures or body points.

Signing into an account is separate from connecting a phone camera.

You decide when motion is on.

The camera starts only after you choose to enable it and your browser allows access. Pause and a temporary phone-to-screen connection loss keep an already enabled camera on while its page stays open. The link reconnects automatically. When fresh tracking sees you in view again, a visible countdown continues your game. If you deliberately press Pause, choose Resume when you are ready. Use Stop camera to turn capture off. Locking your phone, leaving or backgrounding the camera page stops it too.

If motion is off during phone-to-TV play, tap Enable motion again on your phone. Keep the same paired screen open; fresh tracking and a visible countdown bring you back to the paused game.

If the pairing itself has ended, connect again with a new QR code.

A clear distinction about data.

Keeping camera pictures on your device does not mean the whole website stores nothing. Optional accounts keep account information, and saved settings remember your preferences. Hosting and connection providers also handle normal network information, such as an IP address.

Read the privacy notice for account, provider and website information.

From phone to big screen.

  1. Open BINX on your TV or computer and choose Use phone camera.
  2. Scan the QR code with your phone and open the connection page.
  3. On your phone, tap Turn on camera and allow camera access.
  4. Place your phone securely, facing your play space. Show your shoulders and arms, lower your hands, and follow the position check on the game screen.
  5. Choose a game and move comfortably. Pause or stop whenever you need.

For a smooth start: use good light, keep your phone in place and leave enough room to move. A TV browser needs to support BINX’s 3D games. Keep the camera page open on your phone while you play.

Need a hand?

Motion has stopped? Check the phone page first. If it says motion is off, tap Enable motion again. If you stepped out of view while the camera stayed on, return to your position and follow the visible recovery prompts.

Connection ended? Reconnect from the game screen using a new QR code. Camera permissions belong to your browser; if access was blocked, allow it in your browser’s site settings and try again.

Using screen mirroring? Mirroring is a separate feature controlled by your phone, TV or receiver. It can add delay and may display notifications. Stop mirroring separately from Stop camera, and check your receiver’s privacy settings.
